Kinect-expected much more fun!

About 6 months ago, my fianc e sent me a video showing the newest thing in the video game-project Natal technology. I thought it was kind of a cool idea, but it wasn't really thrilled about this. Part of the reason was because it was on the Xbox platform.

I love my Wii. I grew up with Nintendo. Wii was the first game system was ever my children. We have family bowling tournament play Band hero or all together. When playing many games, it feels like we're getting a bit of a workout. Getting exercise while we play is a bonus during the winter months (especially the last few weeks like this, where the wind chills never got above zero!).

Fast-forward with a fair State MN last summer. Since it was renamed Kinect. project Natal Had a couple of booths to allow people to play. Jason and myself, and our 5 children, all the build-up to the booth to play. It was kind of cool, but I still wasn't convinced should have one. Still don't have an Xbox 360, not interested really getting a ... Jason and children, however, couldn't wait!

After spending more time with Jason and his children, my kids (especially my 5 year old Michael,) REALLY wanted an Xbox 360. Santa brought one home. Has replaced the Wii quickly as my favorite kids ' game system. We have over 15 games for the Wii, and only 3 for Xbox, but this is not a problem! Still play our Band/Guitar Hero, DJ hero and bowling for the Wii, but Xbox 360 getting out.

Santa in the House of Jason a Kinect. After trying a few games, I am convinced. Admittedly, I'm a little out of shape. I am a little work after nearly every game on this! It is a heck of fun game game tube on adventures Kinect; Boxing, tennis, and bowling is fun for the sports game. My favorite, however, is the Central dance!! I read some comments about what made it seem like it can be very difficult. It is now a dancer of my life, and a "Chick Club" in the past life, I love this game!! It is a little like DDR (Dance Dance Revolution for those of you who don't know) that tells you which moves are coming. I always provocative bit DDR. From my experience, the mat moves too much, adding a level of frustration. Central dance, you are the controller. No mat to gang. You can use your whole body instead of just your feet. Almost feel like you're in the Club, membership in a flash Mob dance. It is very fun! The music is too long. Most current music, animations that are not obsolete!

Recently we had all the children playing Center dance (ages 5-12) ... some of the more advanced dances (even relatively easy) was a bit too tough for them. Even with some difficulty, children had as much fun dancing as adults. Admittedly, if I wasn't in the hip hop classes, some of these songs have a higher level would have been most challenging for me too. I am not saying to him-"satisfaction" certainly will take some time, I am not master well in blocking movements ... Still loving the game, and looks forward to moving the middle level! For anyone who wants to dance, I would recommend getting this game!!!
