Top games that seem all together have a few things. You either have
Amazing story lines,
Great multiplayer
Amazing gameplay, and/or
Many customization
How would I come to this conclusion? By thinking about all top RPG games over the last few years, and what made them so popular.
Let's start with Diablo as an example. Diablo's storyline was not that great, but it is a good RPG game ended. Why?
I think that it was mostly the gameplay. You are a lone master dominated dungeons beneath Tristan. Can as then, further into the game you fight cooler, meaner Monster.
Everyone loves it, strong, isn't it? And that (along with plenty of multiplayer options that shook the gaming world), one of the top games of all time.
What is another example? How about the final fantasy series.
You with new constantly emerge, although the vast majority of you single player been be!
Why is it such a great RPG game series? I think its from the AWESOME story lines, fun, game play, and all of the customization.
Their characters can in many different ways to use different spells and abilities. Final fantasy tactics dominated this but other games have done similar things.
Another top RPG game was mass effect. From the fantasy and away more in Sci-Fi, its still a great game!
So what made this game one of the top RPG games? I think it was the story combined with adaptation. Again, you could do all sorts of things with your character! I didn't personally very much, like the gameplay, though some RPG gamers.
How about games like doom and torchlight? These games have almost no story, but they are some of the best games on the market.
Why? Customization is great and the gameplay is a lot of fun! You are the hero who dominated the dungeons just like Diablo. Who cares is a history as long as you have fun killing bad guys?
Get all the best RPG games world of Warcraft is now in the mother. When first created this game, I don't think Blizzard, they know it would be one of the top RPG games of all time.
This game was really that you need no great story to have great RPG game. The whole story is basically this - Horde and Alliance kill each other. That's about it.
But here's the thing – making it a great RPG adaptation, multiplayer and gameplay are aspects.

How playing in a RAID with dozens of people online? Review.
How to negotiate and look for deals at the auction house? Review.
Love battle huge monsters, the entire screen to take? Review.
There are so many great things that make WoW a top game.
Since then there have been many imitators. While many of these great games, its hard, a candle, to keep the original pc RPG that dominates the market.
Now if you notice most of these games I mentioned were originally pc games. This is for a few Gründe-
(1) The most important are those I played
(2) Amount of time you get out on PC first
(3) MMORPGs had more success online than on consoles
Don't me wrong, there are many great Xbox RPG games and PlayStation RPG games. But most of the best guys on the pc - sorry!
